There are some who believe that art and politics do not mix.
I am not one of them.
Being an artist causes me to pay particular attention
to the world around me and has, as such,
led to my increasing involvement in San Francisco politics
and artist politics in general.

I encourage all of you artists and culturally interested ones
to join with me and continue to enlighten our public servants of a larger vision.

Now more than ever we need to exert ourselves and our ideals
into the planning of the future.


We need your voice, your vision, your presence.

I promise this.

If you become part of the public pressure
on elected officials and the establishment now,
you will have to spend less time and effort
battling them and protecting yourselves in the future.
